Group split up today. Rita and I by the pool and the rest to Stone Island for fun in the sun and sand. We will see how they like it....

They all had a good time!

Feb 15

Woke to more clouds but no wind so it is like 75 and humid.

Raining on Valentines!

Can't believe it! Played Skipbo in the morning and then went to town to shop for dinner.

Friday 13th

Pretty foggy / misty today so got dressed and am camped out on the patio instead of by the pool. Had a pastry from Panama for breakfast but thinking I want an egg n cheese sandwich.

Tracy n Rita went to shop in town and I stayed at the hotel. Thunder, lightning and rain....

Thursday 12th

Woke up at 630 again... This time got up and D and L went to town and had breakfast at The Place. Wandered back to the old hotel and the caught a pulmonia back. Spent a while at the pool -then dinner at Costa Marinara with banana pie. 

Wednesday 11th

Sat by the pool nearly all day. Moved to the big pool so we could have Ricardo as a waiter. Had lunch and Tracy arrived while we ate. D went to town for a massage and then came to the pool. Went to hear Tracy sing at La Catrina for dinner.

Tuesday 10th

Looks to be a day at the pool. Ahhhh. Lori is getting a mani-pedi and I am saving the spot waiting for sun to hit as it seems damp today. Going for our owners lunch today to hear what is new.

Panchos for dinner

Too much food. Great time last night, pacificos, shots of the yummy tequila and Mexican coffee!!!! Brought some of my filet mignonette home to eat today or for breakfast at some point. Tracy bright us Panama snacks for breakfast too.

Monday the 9

Awake at 630 and grabbing chairs by the pool just in case by 7. D came down about 8 along with the towel guy, but it was already warm so it did not matter to me thou the wet chair was a bit clamy w/o a towel.  Then L came out about 9 and still there were chairs... At least today is not crowded. Rita joined us about 1030 as she was just wiped out. No more drink of the day but happy hour at noon so got two for one Mai taus and a cheeseburger with fries for lunch.

Dinner

Went into town on the 5 pm shuttle and who do we see walking down the street toward us but Tracy! Hugs all around and catch up over dinner at Chili's Peppers. Shrimp 2x2x2 for me and Cilantro fish for Rita. All gone! 378 pesos or about 25 dollars for the two of us. Yes that included drinks. Stopped at the store for eggs, tortillas and cheese and some snacks before getting a pulmonia back to the hotel and falling into bed.

Feb 8

Got to the hotel with all the bags pretty quick and are all checked in. We have room 1131 and Wardens are in 1133 so pretty much next door. Rooms are not ready but we are set for "free lunch" tuesday to see what is new. Headed poolside still dressed to eat lunch and have beer while we wait

Left without a hitch as the downpour let up this morning. Up at 3 for a 3:30 pickup, thanks Mike! Breezed thru security and headed to gate a2 for our 6am flight in row 10 a kind of exit row. We checked our bags at the gate for free as they were asking due to a full run this morning. Arrived in PHX on time at gate a14 and realized we were headed out from gate a12. That has never happened!!! So had a minute to upgrade to first class for the longer flight, which we all did!
